The Cottage, dating back to the 1860s, was originally used as servant’s quarters before the Civil War. In 2020, Mary Eckhart renovated the cabin, preserving the wood beams in the ceiling and walls. Now, our Texas cottage rental—sometimes referred to as the honeymoon suite—offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere with a large tub. It features one bedroom, one bathroom, a small parlor, and a kitchenette. Our Texas cottage rental is also pet-friendly!
